Our Story
Pleasant Union Christian Church is a congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a movement that calls all people to the table of Christ. Our identity is built on open communion, believer baptism, and the pursuit of Christian unity.
Located on Mount Olive Highway (NC Hwy 55) in the Newton Grove area, our church has been a cornerstone for local families since the mid-20th century and earlier. Generation after generation, we have celebrated weddings, welcomed new life, mourned together, and supported one another through every season.
We are a community that values inclusive hospitality, traditional worship, and faithful service. Whether you are a lifelong member or a first-time visitor, you are welcome here.
